Making the Centre Possible
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is working to secure partnerships for the project. The town is currently working in conjunction with the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador on the establishment of an MOU which will see the operation of the aquatics and fitness sections of the facility.
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has announced an $11million commitment which will go towards the design and construction cost of Phase One. This contribution represents the most significant recreational investment the Province has ever made to the municipality’s infrastructure.
The town is centering sponsorship efforts on garnering support, generating funding and forging new partnerships.
